8 questionsExent offers CSEL — Certified Strategy & Execution Leader; CFOM — Certified Finance & Operations Manager; CPCL — Certified People, Culture & Leadership; CPCM — Certified Project & Change Manager; CDDM — Certified Data-Driven Manager; and CBEL — Certified Board & Executive Leader. A designation identifies a credential's level based on the complexity of the competencies assessed. Professional emphasizes foundational knowledge and practical application; Advanced focuses on deeper analysis and decision-making in complex situations; Executive assesses judgment, accountability, and high-impact decisions, including an evidence-based interview. CBEL has its own designation: Board.
CBEL — Certified Board & Executive Leader — assesses competencies in leadership, governance, and decision-making at the board and senior executive levels. Unlike Exent's other certifications, it offers a single designation, Board, with its own assessment structure.
Consider your field, the competencies you want to demonstrate, and the level of responsibility associated with your work. Compare the objectives and recommended candidate profiles on each certification page and in the corresponding Preparation Guides. Exam & Preparation
Get ready for your assessment, technical requirements, and interviews.
14 questionsThe official Preparation Guide outlines the skills assessed, exam structure, and recommended references. The guides are available in Portuguese, English, and Spanish. Consult the guide for your chosen certification and use the version corresponding to your designation.
Exent exams are administered online in a proctored environment. Professional exams consist of multiple-choice questions; Advanced exams combine multiple-choice questions and case studies. Executive and CBEL Board assessments include multiple-choice questions, case studies, and, after passing the first stage, a structured interview with Lara. The assessment format and timing are detailed in the relevant Preparation Guide.
The exam portion lasts 180 minutes for Professional and Advanced, and 120 minutes for Executive and CBEL Board. The number of sessions and time allocated to each may vary by certification. For Executive, the interview with Lara is a second stage. See your certification's Preparation Guide for a detailed time breakdown.
No appointment is required. After completing the initial steps and receiving your exam access link, you may begin at a time that works best for you. However, once you start a session, you must complete it. You cannot voluntarily stop and resume that session at a later time.
Plan to complete each session within the allotted time without interruptions. Do not assume breaks or resuming a session are permitted; follow the rules and notices provided by the platform and in the Preparation Guide. If an unexpected interruption occurs, document the incident and contact support.
Results & Certification
Understand exam results, digital credentials, and verification.
11 questionsExent communicates results through its official channels using the email address on file, once the assessment has been processed and any necessary checks are complete. Timing may vary depending on the stage and any integrity reviews. Watch for messages and follow the platform's instructions.
Passing requirements, minimum scores, and question weights are detailed in the official Preparation Guide for each certification and designation. Review the guide for your specific assessment before taking the exam. In addition to meeting the required score, candidates must comply with identity verification, conduct, and integrity requirements.
To earn an Executive designation, you must pass the first stage, complete the Executive Evidence Interview with Lara, and meet the interview's passing criteria. The final decision also depends on identity, conduct, and integrity verification. Passing the written exam alone does not qualify a candidate for the Executive credential.
Your results may remain under review when additional checks are needed to verify identity, consistency, or session integrity. Events flagged by monitoring tools are considered in context and may undergo human review before a final decision is made.
Your results notification provides the decision and the performance information available for your certification, such as your final score when applicable. To protect exam security and integrity, Exent does not disclose answer keys, correct answers, or the full content of exam questions.
Retake & Support
Learn about retakes, vouchers, and candidate support.
8 questionsIf you do not achieve the minimum passing score, you will not be awarded the certification for that attempt. Exent will communicate your result and any applicable instructions for submitting a new application, including a possible retake voucher for eligible candidates.
Yes. To try again, you must submit a new application at exent.institute, select the certification you want to pursue, and complete a new payment and assessment process. Your previous attempt is not simply reopened.
Exent offers eligible candidates who did not pass a personal voucher for 50% off a new attempt. The code and instructions are included in the unsuccessful-results notification. Review the voucher's terms before submitting a new application.
A retake voucher is personal, nontransferable, and valid for six months, subject to the terms provided when it is issued. It may be used only by the eligible candidate named in the notification and must be applied to a new application within the validity period. Attempts invalidated for integrity violations may be treated differently from attempts that fail to meet the passing score.
